Another exciting year with the 2021 East Coast Music Awards’ virtual announcement of this year’s winners. The CMC supports two classical categories and is thrilled to congratulate this year’s recipients. 

Guitarists Steve Cowan and Adam Cicchillitti have won the 2021 ECMA Classical Recording of the Year with their album Focus. The winning album features an incredible slate of Canadian composers: Harry Stafylakis, Andrew Staniland, José Evangelista, Jason Noble and Patrick Roux.   

The 2021 ECMA Classical Composition of the Year goes to CMC Associate Composer Peter-Anthony Togni for his work Sea Dreams. The composition is featured on Calgary-based chamber choir Luminous Voices’ recent album by the same title, a collection of works by Togni.
