Meet your 2025/26 Composer-in-Residence: Stephanie Martin
Canadian composer Stephanie Martin is recognized for her innovative compositions and deep commitment to the choral arts. She has an impressive catalogue of works performed across North America and Europe. You may already be acquainted with Stephanie’s work as her composition ‘Nothing Gold Can Stay’ is featured on TMChoir’s latest album, Remember: 130 Years of Canadian Choral Music, and you can hear it live at our upcoming Community Concert, Duruflé’s Requiem on May 9, 2025.
This special concert also features ‘One Thing at a Time’ by this season’s Composer-in-Residence, Aaron Manswell, as well as ‘Little Welcome Son’ by Crescenzo DiCecco, winner of this year’s Debbie Fleming Prize for Choral Composition.
As next season’s Composer-in-Residence, Stephanie will contribute new works to TMChoir’s repertoire in our soon-to-be-announced 2025/26 season.
