Congratulations to percussionist David Therrien Brongo, who has won the Canadian Music Centre Quebec Prize, within the Prix d’Europe 2021 competition, for his interpretation of “Colère: Berlin 61” by Michel Longtin.

The performance took place at the soirée Gala concert last Saturday, where he interpreted the work for solo vibraphone titled, “Ariane endormie” by Nicolas Gilbert.

Congratulations to all performers who participated in this year’s competition, the semi-finalists, finalists and winners, who have played numerous works by our CMC Quebec Associate Composers!
