The Upstream Ensemble is a composer/performer collective based in Nova Scotia, Canada. Their remarkable music is a hybrid of the rich musical experience of all eight of its members. Contemporary concert music, jazz, traditional and many other new sounds are fused into an inventive, energetic package.
