Marie-Josée Simard

Recognized as an exceptional percussionist, Marie-Josée Simard is blessed with an astonishing talent. Over the years, she has been guest soloist to most major Canadian orchestras and has given numerous recitals. Simard has toured in the United States, South America, Mexico and Europe. Her music is often heard on the CBC and her recordings clearly demonstrate her ability to interpret contemporary music as well as music from other eras. Simard works closely with numerous other composers enlarging the current musical selection for percussion instruments.
