Told You So is an exciting album by Montreal based guitarist/composer Joy Anandasivam
showcasing the union of Carnatic music and Jazz. Carnatic music is the Classical music of India
and it is one of the oldest systems of music alive today. The unique focus of the album is the
guitar and features the exciting adaptations of Carnatic music and its stylized embellishments on
this western instrument while offering a new definition to an ancient tradition.
