Lunar New Year Fantasy won 1st place in the 2022 Sally Slade Warner Arrangements and Transcriptions Competition hosted by The Guild of Carillonneurs of North America.

Composed for Andrea McCrady to be premiered February 1, 2022 on the Peace Tower Carillon in Ottawa, Canada on Lunar New Year, the year of the tiger. However, the premiere was cancelled when protests in Ottawa blocked access to Parliament Hill. This work has since been recorded by Roy Lee in the Soldiers’ Tower at the University of Toronto and is available on YouTube.
