ELEVATE – Campbell Foster Artist in Residence
“The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.” – Rumi
‘ELEVATE’ is a piece designed for the concert finale of my Artist in Residence at the Canadian Music Centre, Feb 27th 2025, 4 to 6 pm.
It includes a lecture and performance on my Sonological Research, and the development of my two cymatic instruments; the ‘Electroacoustic Sheet Metal Feedback Phone’, and the ‘CREATION SPIRIT MACHINE’.
Expect a meditative sound therapeutic experience and interaction with the instruments in a milestone performance and concert of my work so far.
Elevate means to raise or lift up to a higher position. This includes your consciousness, health, thinking, activities, and life.
Join us at the Canadian Music Centre (20 St. Joseph St., Toronto, Ontario, Canada) for a celebration of how far we all have come.
