In 2010 flutist Mark Takeshi McGregor asked seven Canadian composers to write a work for solo flute, each inspired by one of the Seven Deadly Sins.Celestial Machine was the first recording entirely devoted to the music of Vancouver, Canada, composer Owen Underhill. This CD collects works of varied instrumentation completed between 1984 and 1999.Arraymusic’s mission is to ignite and sustain a passion for contemporary Canadian musical art within an international, interdisciplinary context.
