The Canadian Music Centre (CMC), whose Quebec offices are located on Crescent Street in downtown Montreal, acts much like a publisher in that it prints scores for orchestras with a work by a Canadian composer registered with the CMC on their program and collects royalties for its public performance, which it redistributes to the rights holders.
