Come celebrate the upcoming Centrediscs album and Women’s History Month with an album preview concert by the Mercer Duo.
Akemi Mercer-Niewöhner (violin) and Rachel Mercer (cello) will perform pieces from their upcoming Centrediscs release Our Strength, Our Song, an album which celebrates sisterhood and 40 years of duos by Canadian women composers. What better way to celebrate Women’s History Month!
There will also be a preview of the Fall issue of the CMC’s digital magazine Résonance, which is dedicated to Canadian women composers and performers.
