CMC Presents: Eckhardt-Gramatté National Music Competition Winner

Winner of the 2019 Eckhardt-Gramatté National Music Competition, Bryn Blackwood brings Canadian piano music to audiences, including works from legendary composers Jean Coulthard and Jacques Hétu, as well as composers active today such as Brian Current. CMC is proud to be the presenter for the Toronto event of his cross-Canada winner’s tour.

The E-Gré Competition acknowledges the support of the Canada Council for the Arts, which last year invested $153million to bring the arts to Canadians throughout the country. Le Concours E-Gré remercie le Conseil des arts du Canada de son soutien. L’an dernier, le Conseil a investi 153millions de dollars pour mettre de l’art dans la vie des Canadiennes et des Canadiens de tout le pays. The 2020 Eckhardt-Gramatté National Music Competition is open to vocalists (See http://e-gre.ca for details.) The first-place winner will receive a cash prize of $8,000 and a Canadian tour (recital fees approximately $5,000).
