Lark Popov received her degrees from the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto), the University of Toronto and the Hartt School of music. She has been awarded First Prize in the Baldwin Competition. George Vona pursued his studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto), the University of Toronto, the Catholic University of America and the Hartt School of Music. He was awarded the First Prize in both the Ontario Finals of the National Competitive Festival of Music and the Joanna Hodges International Piano Competition. In addition to their performance of existing music for two pianos, Popov & Vona are committed to the performance and commissioning of new music.
