Following Judith’s performance at the Women from Space Festival, the CMC has invited Judith to give a workshop on her vocal improvisation practice.

From Judith:

We will explore strategies and structures for improvising with our voices. These will include opening up to new timbres and techniques as well as thinking like a composer while improvising. We will engage in free improvisation as well as slightly more structured exercises to develop our melodic and rhythmic ideas and to broaden our vocal sound spectrum. No prior improvisation experience necessary.
