Celebrating Music From Toronto
An intimate concert exploring music from Toronto presented by Music Around the Corner, a new series celebrating Canadian music and art!
This concert is an exploration and celebration of the music and musicians of Toronto! An incredible 1 hour long program of string quartets with prize winning, first-class musicians- Emma Meinrenken and Astrid Nakamura, violin, Lynn Sue-a-quan, viola, and Lucie Ticho, cello. There will be opportunities for audience discussion and participation, all in an intimate and casual setting- people of all ages welcome. The event is hosted by Music Around the Corner (@musiccornerto on Instagram), a brand-new concert series which features a collective of young musicians who aim to share their craft, as well as highlight the amazing small business and organizations in Toronto. Tickets are pay-what-you-wish, with all proceeds helping the series host future events for the community. Right in downtown Toronto, this concert will be the perfect way to spend a summer evening!
