Harry Somers: Live from Toronto

This new edition of Centrediscs’ A Window on Somers includes three orchestral works by Canadian composer Harry Somers, spanning the years 1956 to 1978, and includes Stereophony which solidified Somers’ orchestral style while pioneering the Canadian exploration of spatial music.

A Window on Somers is a series of CDs for Centrediscs commemorating the life work of this great composer. This special series of CDs is commercially available, and showcases Somers’ vocal, choral, chamber, orchestral and operatic music.
