Outward Voyage which is a compilation of Art Songs written for the performers by the Richmond, British Columbia composer Christopher Ludwig.

The disc is framed by two works (East Wind and Pacific) that refer to the environment and cultures of the Pacific region, but all of the pieces are influenced by a growing awareness of the interplay between Eastern and Western ideas, just as the world increasingly looks to the Pacific Rim as the new centre of economic activity.

Evergreen Club is an ensemble of eight highly skilled Canadian musicians who perform and record using an assortment of bronze and wooden instruments from Indonesia. Collectively these instruments are known as a gamelan – a traditional instrument ensemble that plays an important role in the Indonesian culture.
