Gerard Satamian's music is an exploration of his cultural roots and poetic sensibility.

This is an eclectic collection of vocal music by Canadian composer Glenn Buhr, ranging from blues-flavoured works through medieval folk-like material to choral settings in the style of classical east Indian music.

Simon Fryer and Lydia Wong have been playing together since 1982 when they met at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Married in 1985, they have continued to perform regularly as a duo. This is their first recording together.

This disc includes both studio performances on acoustic instruments and sampled sounds "performed" by a computer.
