A prolific composer, Eleanor Daily has a remarkable gift for melody and for seeking out texts that compliment her music. She has been the recipient of numerous awards in the Amadeus Choir’s Christmas Carol and Chanukah Song Writing Competition, held annually in Toronto, and has written many commissioned works for choirs including the Elmer Iseler Singers, the Amadeus Choir, the Toronto Children’s Chorus, the Victoria Scholars, the Amabile Youth Singers, the Bach Children’s Chorus and the Calgary Girl’s Choir.
