For There and Then combines world music with contemporary classical music. Expressing a wide range of virtuosity in blending plucked strings from around the world with Indonesian gamelan instruments.

The music on this CD is clearly identified with birds but none of the pieces aim at imitation, except in passing.

Foliage represents the Riverdale Ensemble's premiere recording. The CD contains three works for clarinet, violin and piano.

Jan Järvlepp's Flights of Fancy, includes six pieces for various small instrumental ensembles, some of them a tad unusual.
