Twenty-three composers from around the world, most of whom have never met face to face, have joined together through the good graces of the CEC to prepare a self-funded compilation CD. This like-minded, aesthetically variant group share the historical desire to distribute the fruits of their labors.

Twenty-eight composers, from seven countries, have participated in this double CD project, bringing to the international audience a compilation with a diversity of electroacoustic works not usually found in single-artist projects.

André Prévost is one of Canada's most prolific composers and his works have gained international recognition. During the last 35 years he has produced over sixty major works, mainly for orchestra, soloist with orchestra, choir, as well as for various chamber music combinations.

From the romantic miniature tone poems of Barrios and the exuberant Afro-Caribbean folk rhythms of Casseus to the exotic colours of Domeniconi, we hear a rich legacy of influences that have come to bear on guitar music in the late Twentieth century.
