All the music on this disk was composed using algorithmic techniques based on theories of chaos. The wide range of approaches within this narrow theme demonstrates the depth on a unique merging of art and science.

« In confronting the orders of chaos, of growth and stability, it appears we are coming face to face with something that is buried at the foundations of human existence. The depth of that encounter is suggested by the pioneering work of psychiatrist Dr. Montague Ullman, which indicates that the structure of our dreams is fractal. Dr. Ullman believes that the dream ‘story’ contains repetitions of the dreamer’s central concerns. Reflections of these concerns can be found in both the overall ‘story’ and in its finer and finer details. » -from Turbulent Mirrors by John Briggs and F. David Peat
