Not Too Dark
Longest Night is an annual music-driven stage event held on the evening of winter solstice, December 21, in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada.
Presented by the Longest Night Society, and fuelled by darkness-induced creativity, Longest Night brings to the stage a unique assortment of instrumentalists, singers, storytellers, and actors.
At the heart of the event is the Longest Night Ensemble, an unorthodox 11-piece chamber group which plays the role of both pit orchestra and concert ensemble.
The album not too Dark is a retrospective of selected music performed by the ensemble and is accompanied by a printed collection of short stories featured in the past five years of Longest Night performances.
