The origin of the guiding theme of this CD lies in the instant attraction to Henri Pousseur’s Naturel for solo horn that occurred during a presentation of the work by Francis Orval, a work which is based entirely on natural harmonics. This recording is the third and conclusive element of a Montreal-Liège exchange co-produced by the Conservatoire de Montréal and the Conservatoire Royal de Liège. This CD is a testimony of inter-community exchanges that implied the musicians, composers and music lovers of Liège and Montréal.
