Twentieth-Century Canadian Chamber Music
Music courses have been offered at Queen’s University by distinguished composers and scholars since 1935. The present level of professional musical activity dates back to the commencement of a Bachelor of Music degree program in 1969. In less than a quarter of a century, Queen’s graduates have quietly come to prominence in virtually every aspect of Canada’s thriving musical life. This compact disc offers a sample of the remarkable quality of the performers and composers who have nurtured the music graduates of Queen’s University.
