The repertoire on Playing Tribute was chosen by the Aulos Trio to honour six Canadian composers who all celebrated significant birthdays in the first half of the 1990s.

Inspired by a year-long sojourn in Spain and Europe, Danielle Cumming features works by composers who, like her, spent time in other cultures and came away with their own musical impressions, or postcards.
