The work was commissioned for NYO Canada’s 2017 Edges of Canada Tour as part of the ‘Unsilent Project.’ The work is a response to the poem ‘A Child’s Bright Eyes’ by the late Blackfoot slam-poet, Zaccheus Jackson.
