Remember Your Power
Remember Your Power
John Burke’s music is concerned with healing and transcendence. In these two major chamber works, Burke uses the mythical metaphor of the journey to bring listeners to a better appreciation of themselves and their world. The recording includes Burke’s String Quartet which was the 1995 winner of the Jules Léger Prize for Chamber Music.
« The performances of both works are outstanding…The sound quality, clarity and ambience all meet the excellent standards we have come to expect from current CMC Centrediscs releases. »
– Edward Jurkowski, CAML Review
