A Great Tide of Love is a homage of love from his family, in memory of Ron Brown (1047-2022). It is also my homage to a dear friend with whom I shared three formative college years that initiated a lifelong, cherished friendship. The four songs in the cycle celebrate: 1. music; 2. a quirky sense of humour; 3. love of nature; and 4. grateful and gentle acceptance of life’s physical ending.
