Amore (Love) is a tale told through the language of sound. A cinematic approach conveys images and sensation, evoking various destinations amidst an amorous universe. Clichés, ‘forbidden’ people and places, wild love stories with a Romanesque flavour. Fiction for the imagination made real, becoming deep music breaths.

Roxanne Turcotte was awarded the International New Music Composers Competition Awards (USA, 1987, 89), the 1985 Silver Medal and the 1989 Gold Medal in the SOCAN Hugh LeCaine Competition (Canada) and was a finalist in the Luigi Russolo International Competition (Varese, Italy, 1989).
