Daniel Janke is a Canadian composer, filmmaker and media artist based near Whitehorse, Yukon. His work is eclectic, crossing many genres and styles. Other compositions and collaborations include work with violinist Mark Fewer, soprano Aphrodite Patoulidou, clarinetist François Houle, Bruce Cockburn, rapper Kelvin Smoler, the Penderecki String Quartet, Standing Wave Ensemble, Toronto Symphony, Vancouver Symphony, NEM, Bozzini String Quartet, visual artist Joyce Majiski, and the Continuum Ensemble.

Janke has been collaborating with dancers and choreographers for decades. This recording highlights some of these compositions for dance.
